Paul Holley is ticking off the World Marathon Majors from his to do list.

On Sunday, the elite veteran Newmarket Jogger lowered his personal best in the Berlin Marathon with a time of two hours, 38 minutes and 32 seconds. Fellow Jogger Neil Williamson ran well in 3.23.44, while Carolynn Anderson was a late entry to the race and came home in under five hours.

Elsewhere, Greg Davis and Svitlana Zinchenko flew the Newmarket Joggers colours at the Felixstowe Coastal 10.

Davis (1.04.33) finished 18th overall and second in the V50 county race, while Zinchenko (1.31.34) performed superbly in her first 10 mile race.

Nik Chapman has been in splendid form of late and warmed up nicely for the upcoming Abingdon Marathon with a measured race in the Barnstable Half Marathon.

Chapman finished with a little up his sleeve in 1.40.20 to put him spot on for the classic 26.2 mile distance to come.

Isabel Vincente ran with great credit on very little training in Nottingham’s Robin Hood Marathon and finished with a time of 7.09.18.

Kevin Connolly is an accomplished Ultra runner now and finished in a superb 14th place in the 42 mile Ely Ultra.

Lisa Redman ran for an incredible 19 hours and three minutes during the Equinox 24 hour Ultra race.
