Ely’s senior roller hockey side had a perfect day in the latest National Division One tournament in King’s Lynn, winning four out of four matches to move up to second in the standings.

Max Dunand (three), Hannah Barrow and Emily Barrow fired them to a 5-3 win over Maidstone before Nico Pembrey hit a hat-trick that was added to by Max Dunand, Will Forman and Ross Hookway in a 6-0 triumph over King’s Lynn.

Two well-taken goals by Hannah Barrow put Ely in charge against England Under-17 Boys, but the national side hit back before Foreman and Pembrey sealed a 4-3 victory.

Ely cruised to a 9-1 triumph over England Ladies in their final game, with four netted by Pembrey, two by Max Dunand and Forman, as well as one from Heather Dunand.
