Thetford Town striker Robbie Priddle has turned down the opportunity to join Soham Town Rangers.
The Ryman North club put in seven days’ notice of approach for the goalscorer who has found the back of the net 11 times in all competitions this season.
He held talks with the Julius Martin Lane outfit, but has decided to remain at Mundford Road.
Delighted Brecklanders boss Danny White said: “I’m delighted that Robbie is staying with the club and wants to achieve things with us.
“There’s not much loyalty in football these days but Robbie wants to repay me for the faith I showed in him last season.
“In my opinion, he is the best hold-up striker in the Thurlow Nunn League and the fact he has also scored 11 goals as well just goes to show what a valuable player he is to us.”
