Lakenheath moved into the quarter-finals of the Suffolk Senior Cup on Saturday after fighting back from two goals down.

Following some strong words at half-time, Matt Hayden scored twice within three minutes of the restart while Bramford had a man sent off.

Luke Catchpole put Lakenheath in front for the first time with 20 minutes left of play and the tie was wrapped up in the 82nd minute when Hayden completed his hat-trick.

n Fordham came out on top of a hard-fought match at Mepal Sports in NMC League Division 2B.

The visitors finally broke the deadlock in the 67th minute. Adam Cummings sent a free-kick into the box where Graham Ford set up Vinnie Long to finish the job.

Ford scored a deserved second goal to wrap things up close to the end.

n Fordham Reserves came back from two goals down to take a share of the spoils with Lakenheath Casuals Reserves in Division 5A. Kev Buckett and Luke Schunmann netted the Fordham’s goals.
