NEWMARKET Tennis Club's girls will represent Suffolk in the National Junior Club League for a second year.
Storm Baxter, Emma Diver, Isabelle Clifton-Brown and Troi Baxter beat off the challenge off Suffolk's other 16/U sides to move into the regional finals.

not match the girls' feat, coming runners up.

The women's NCL team of Jodie Tiley, Bethan Davis, Jenny Chin and Emma Diver also lost with their second tie-break shoot-out decider of the year as they were beaten 4-3 by Letchworth.
In the Cambs League, Newmarket's women's pairings Christine Sprowell and Katie Jarvis and Jenny Chin and Storm Baxter lost to Cambridge but beat Saffron Walden 5-3.
The men's first team, hit by injuries, still managed a draw against Cambridge III, with Ian Evans and Jon Olive taking three sets and Alex Davidson and Mark Gooden taking one.
Newmarket women's second quartet, Sarah Reardon, Vannin Quine, Sophie Davidson and Rebecca Stacey, struggled against Cambridge V, while the men's second side of Will Balding, Mark Gooden, Tristan Bacon and Phil Stoten lost 7-1 to Royston I.
Newmarket men's third team of Phil Stoten, Matt Lord, Cliff Woof and Toby Osborne suffered a narrow 5-3 defeat to Cocks & Hens IV but the women's third string enjoyed a convincing 8-0 victory over Hills Road with Jane Elsey, Jane Mynott, Jane Fodham and Claire McDonnell all on form.
Jon Olive, Helen Lynch, Mike Smith and Vannin Quine represented Newmarket Mixed A in the Norfolk & Suffolk League, drawing 4-4 against a strong Soham side.
Soham turned the tables against Newmarket B (Jeremy Freeland, Jill O'Neill, Jo Bacon and Chris Arnold) winning 5-3.
Newmarket men's B won against Wickhambrook 5-3, with Cliff Woof and John Trinder taking all four of their sets and Mark Bond and Peter Hunt winning one before drawing 4-4 against Chippenham.
The first round of the Norfolk & Suffolk Cup saw Newmarket's Mark Bond, Matthew Lord, Peter Hunt and Jeremy Freeland fight hard against Hundon before going down 1-7.
The mixed team sailed through the first round with an 8-0 crushing of Brandon with Liz Bell, Peter Hunt, Helen Lynch and Jeremy Freeland outclassing their opponents. The women also won their first round cup match against Haverhill 5-3.
