SOHAM junior clay pigeon shooter Taylor Hedgecock has been in top form after securing three county titles.
The 10-year-old from Mereside has seen his fine form help him pick up the Cambridgeshire County colts under-16 English skeet title, the Cambridgeshire County colts under-16 sporting trap and the Cambridgeshire County under-21 all-rounder championship.
A regular shooter at the Newmarket Gun Club, the youngster, who only took up the sport in 2007, took his first title when hitting 88 out of 100 clays at the Lakenheath Clay Target Centre to take the English Skeet title.
Following on from his success at Lakenheath at the end of last month, Hedgecock then picked up the sporting trap title at the Country Pursuits range in Stretham earlier this month when hitting 58 out of 100 clays.
A pupil at St Andrew's Primary School, Soham, Hedgecock completed his haul when beating competitors more than five years older than him at the recently held Cambridgeshire all-rounder championships in Northampton when taking out 56 out of 100 clays.
Claire Hedgecock, Taylor's mum, said: "He has done really well in getting these as he has been shooting against boys who are four or five years older than him. He is generally the youngest competitor when he takes part in these events."
Coached by his grandad Gordon Webster, Hedgecock will hope that his good form continues when he faces his toughest task to date when shooting in the World Beretta Championships at Meon Springs, Petersfield, Hampshire, next month.
"For him this will be a tournament just to get some experience as he will be shooting against some of the best young shooters in the country. Hopefully the experience will allow him to progress to their kind of level in a couple of years' time," she added.
