FORDHAM gained the victory they needed to boost confidence with a deserved odd goal success against early season league eladers Eaton Socon.
In a hard fought first half, neither side were able to breakthrough, with Fordham just shading things at the mid way point.

But Fordham edged ahead after the break when Andy Short took advantage of a double save by the keeper to slot home the rebound.

Fordham were heading towards a much needed win but ten minutes remaining, Eaton Socom equalised with a shot that was deflected in off a defender.

ut Fordham's frustration turned to joy minutes later when Tom Christie broke down the right to defeat the opposing keeper with a well timed strike that saw his side gain three vaulable points.

Isleham 3 v Fordham Reserves 2

In a hard fought derby BIS Division 3B encounter, Isleham just cameout on top by the odd goal.

Sean Brighty gave his side every chancewith both goals for Fordham.
