YOUNGSTERS in Soham put their creative hats on during an activity morning at the town's library.
The group of youngsters used various materials to make their own masks during an hour session on Tuesday.

It was just one of a number of events the Clay Street library is holding to keep children entertained in the school holidays.

There will be a visit by The Raptor Centre and a talk by children's author Gillian McClure later next month.

Carol Knappett, Soham library supervisor, said the activities were to promote the reading scheme Team Read, which encourages youngsters to read six books rewards them with a certificate and medal at the end of the challenge.
