VISITORS flocked to an Isleham farm when it held an open day.
More than 500 adults and children attended Farm Sunday on June 1 at the village's Thompson's Farm in Fen Bank, where they were able to meet pigs, piglets, cows and calves.

A display of farm machinery was organised by villager Peter Clark, including modern and vintage John Deere tractors.

Youngsters and their parents were also able to meet Pie the Shire horse.

Isleham Fresh Produce supported the event with a display of vegetables which visitors were allowed to take home.

For those who fancied being more active there was the opportunity to join tours along the Isleham Washes.

Alastair Burn, Isleham resident and representative of Natural England, gave a talk about the importance of the washes and the wildlife.

The £350 raised will be split between the East Anglian Air Ambulance, RSPB and farming charity Leaf.
