A CANCER charity has received a £500 boost thanks to the organisers of Soham Carnival.
Members of the Soham Benevolent Association, which organises the town's annual carnival and heavy horse show, presented Macmillan Cancer Support with the money.

The figure was raised from last year's carnival, which is normally held on the second bank holiday in May.

The committee decided to give the donation to Macmillan in memory of one of its members Barbara Fuller, who died of cancer.
