Box social, a band from Suffolk, came together for a gig to help raise money for St. Nicolas Hospice at Mr G's bowling alley in Brandon on Sunday.
The band performed a set which contained some of their own material while also performing some real crowd-pleasing covers.
Throughout their set, Toby, lead singer of the band managed to engage the crowd, often inviting them to sing with him. This was often followed by very impressive solos pulled off by the front man.
At one point, in typical rock and roll fashion, Toby even played a solo behind his head which really got the crowd going.
This was matched by some impressive playing from drummer Lawrence "Chicken" Chichon and bass player David "Skip" Brooker who regularly displayed there great ability to perform solos.
One of the people who was at the venue on behalf of St. Nicolas Hospice said she was very impressed with the turnout and really appreciated the time given by the acts performing on the night.
