Jean Mitchell

JEAN Mitchell, a founder member of Eagles Badminton Club, died at her home in Windsor Road, Newmarket, on March 5. She was 64 and had been ill for 18 months.
Born and educated in Newmarket, she had been a housekeeper for Gavin and Coral Pritchard-Gordon for 13 years and for William and Julie Jarvis for 16 years.

Always keen to support family, friends and neighbours, she enjoyed music, theatre, dancing,
walking and nature.

Mrs Mitchell is survived by her husband Robert, and leaves a daughter Belinda, son Darren, and three grandchildren, Christopher, Bobby and Kayla.

Her funeral took place at St Mary's Church, Newmarket, on March 17. The Rev John Hardy conducted the service and Mark Rodman was the organist.
