Born in Scunthorpe, she lived in Essex until moving to Newmarket in 1985 to be nearer her family.

An active member of ChristChurch, Newmarket, she had been chairman of Newmarket Retirement Club for more than 20 years.

Mrs Braddick leaves two daughters, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Her funeral took place at ChristChurch, Newmarket, on April 4. The service was taken by the Rev Sheila MacInally.
