EDNA Braddick, of Armstrong Close, Newmarket, died at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, on March 24. She was 86 and had been ill in hospital for 13 weeks.
Born in Scunthorpe, she lived in Essex until moving to Newmarket in 1985 to be nearer her family.

An active member of ChristChurch, Newmarket, she had been chairman of Newmarket Retirement Club for more than 20 years.

Mrs Braddick leaves two
daughters, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Her funeral took place at ChristChurch, Newmarket, on April 4. The service was taken by the Rev Sheila MacInally.

Family mourners were: Edna and Keith Ward, Joanna and Stephen Reynolds, Helen and Alex O'Neill, Charlie and Austin O'Neill, Jean and Gerald Sumner, Kevin and Mandy Sumner (rep Margaret and Les Burgess), Victoria Sumner, Basil and Sonya Brader (Edith Evans and family) and Caroline Croft (Tim and family).
