A suspect in the likely double murder of a Weybread couple has had his appeal against extradition from Luxembourg rejected.

A district court turned down the appeal by Ali Qazimaj, 42, of Tilbury, Essex, after he was arrested and detained in Luxembourg City last month, in connection with the murders of Peter and Sylvia Stuart.

Qazimaj now has three days to further appeal his extradition to the UK, which would then be decided on by the Court of Appeals within 20 days.

The body of Mr Stuart, 75, was found in woodland near their Mill Lane home on Friday, June 3, whilst authorities are still attempting to locate Mrs Stuart, 69, who has not been seen since Sunday, May 29.
