A group of fund raisers in Ashley have raised more than £3,000 to help towards the cost of what could be life-changing surgery for a one year old from Snailwell.

When Gloria Brown read about a fund raising campaign being organised by James and Lorna Brokenshire-Dyke to pay for an opertaion in the United States for their son Seb, she wanted to help. She contacted members of the Ashley Fund Raisers and they held a sale at the village hall on Saturday at which Seb, along with his twin brother Solomon, and their parents were the special guests. “He is a wonderful little boy and we wanted to do something to help. Everyone has been so generous and we are delighted with what we raised,” said Gloria.
