Weybread pensioner murder suspect Ali Qazimaj has been arrested.
Qazimaj, 42, has been found in Luxembourg and is in custody there.
Police made an appeal to trace Qazimaj following the discovery of Peter Stuart’s body in woodland close to his Mill Lane home.
Sylvia Stuart, 69, remains missing.
At a Suffolk Police press conference this afternoon, Detective Chief Superintendent Simon Parkes said Qazimaj, thought to have left the country on June 4, was found late last night in Luxembourg city.
He was found by a member of the public, a hostel worker employed in the city, and reported who she believed to be Qazimaj to the local authorities. She had recognised him after seeing images of him on the internet.

Qazimaj has been detained under a European Arrest Warrant in connection with the murder of Mr and Mrs Stuart.
Extradition proceedings were now underway.
“There is clearly an element of relief,” he said. “There has been a huge amount of work not just in the UK, but with the assistance of National Crime Agency colleagues and colleagues throughout Europe.
“Locating him is obviously a significant development in this investigation.”
He added “the work continues” to try and find Mrs Stuart, although he said there was “no expectation” of finding her alive.
