Two people were taken to hospital following a serious collision involving a car and a motorcycle near Ely yesterday, Sunday August 2.

At 1.39pm, Magpas Helimedix Doctor Raluca Ionescu and Paramedic Dan Phillips assessed a woman in her 50s who had suffered multiple body injuries.

The Magpas team sedated the patient, providing specialist A&E care at the scene), before accompanying her to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by land ambulance. On arrival at the hospital the patient was in a serious but stable condition.

An EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crew treated a male patient on the scene, before taking him to Addenbrooke’s Hospital.

The police and a Community First Responder were also present.
