Man cut free from car in Mildenhall accident

A MAN had to be cut free from his car following an accident near Mildenhall on Friday, January 6.

Emergency services received a call to the two-car collision on the A1065, near the Thetford Road junction at about 6.30am.

The man became trapped when his black BMW collided with a silver Mercedes before ending up in nearby bushes.

A spokeswoman for Suffolk Police said the man was treated at the scene for injuries to his back and neck. Neither were believed to be life-threatening.

The road was reopened an hour after the crash.
