If you registered your religion as Jedi Knight in the last census, you are contributing to a growing population of order members in the region.

We may all be waiting for the arrival of Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens to catch up with the most famous Jedi Knights in the universe - when really, there are some much closer to home.

In the latest census, thousands of people in the East of England submitted their religion as Jedi Knight - choosing to follow the divine order of the galaxy.

Figures have been released for each local authority area in the country, with Leeds as the Jedi capital of the UK.

In Fenland there are 291 Jedi Knights, 0.31% of the population.

In Huntingdonshire there are 669 Jedi Knights, 0.39% of the population.

In South Cambridgeshire there are 563 Jedi Knights, 0.38% of the population.

In East Cambridgeshire there are 291 Jedi Knights, 0.35% of the population.

In Cambridge there are 582 Jedi Knights, 0.47% of the population.

In Forest Heath there are 159 Jedi Kinghts, 0.27% of the population.

In St Edmundsbury there are 407 Jedi Knights, 0.37% of the population.

In Babergh there are 289 Jedi Knights, 0.33% of the population.

In Mid Suffolk there are 287 Jedi Knights, 0.30% of the population.

In South Norfolk there are 445 Jedi Knights, 0.36% of the population.

In Breckland there are 362 Jedi Knights, 0.28% of the population.

In King’s Lynn and West Norfolk there are 456 Jedi Knights, 0.31% of the population.

In North Norfolk there are 311 Jedi Knights, 0.31% of the population.
