Ryan Sharman came to the rescue for Soham Town Rangers on Saturday after striking twice inside 15 second half minutes to give them a 2-1 win over Chatham Town in their Ryman League Division One North fixture.

The Greens fell behind to a Laurence Collins effort in the 37th minute before goals from Sharman in the 56th and 70th minute gifted them the points and their first back-to-back league wins since September.

Rangers will end their 2014 year when they travel to Wroxham on Saturday (3pm).

In the Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division, Ely City drew for the second match in succession after holding Fakenham Town to a 1-1 draw at Clipbush Park.

The Robins, who sit second bottom in the league, will host Godmanchester Rovers on Saturday (3pm).
