The momentum of the LodeStar music festival continues to grow with internationally acclaimed rockers Razorlight confirmed as this year’s headliners.

The Brit indie rock band formed in 2002 by lead singer and guitarist Johnny Borrell have regularly topped the UK charts with iconic tracks including America, Somewhere Else and Golden Touch.

The announcement marks more progress for the up-and-coming festival.

Based in Lode, the three day event runs across the weekend of September 4-6.

Doug Durrant founder and organiser of the event said: “To be able to add headliner Razorlight to this year’s lineup shows the momentum that our heartfelt festival has gained and I am truly delighted to welcome them.”

“I have worked in the fields of my family’s farm since a child; from my teenage years I always had a vision to put on a festival here.

“There is a special atmosphere that builds over the days of LodeStar and it grows inside all who attend.”
