Wickhambrook Carnival welcomed record numbers to Saturday’s big event.

The event included a float procession through the village, a six-a-side football tournament, a dog agility show and various displays from martial arts to majorette dancing, as wells as a classic and vintage car show.

Carnival committee chairman Tracy Stephenson said the day was a huge success. She said: “We are still totting up the money we have made, but it seems like we have had a record breaking day for fund raising, too.”
