Racing charity set to benefit from new company partnership

Newmarket-based Racing Welfare is hoping its new association with a racing rewards scheme will be a winner for the charity.

Rewards4Racing is a rewards programme for racegoers and its involvement in the new partnership will help the charity continue its work supporting racing’s workforce.

The company will be donating to Racing Welfare each time one of its member makes a purchase through the Rewards4Racing website with one of their 4,000 plus retailers which include Booking.com, Argos and AO.com.

Members will still receive their full allocation of points from Rewards4Racing but at the same time they will be giving back to the racing industry, through the donation made by Rewards4Racing.

Josh Apiafi, co-founder and director of Rewards4Racing, said: “When we started Rewards4Racing, one of our aims was to make a real contribution to the racing industry and give back to this amazing sport. Last year 87,000 Rewards4Racing members spent over £13.8 million with the programme’s online and in-store retailers, now every time there is a shopping transaction from one of our members through the system, Racing Welfare will benefit.”

Dawn Goodfellow, chief executive of Racing Welfare, said: “Not only will the, You Spend, We Give, partnership raise significant essential funds for the charity, it will also ensure that the racing fans who are customers of Rewards4Racing are able to find out more about the vital role that Racing Welfare plays in supporting racing’s workforce.”
