Acts of kindness have been demonstrated by pupils at Moulton Primary School after getting behind this year’s Operation Christmas Child shoe box appeal.

Youngsters at the school have shown their generous side by filling up old shoeboxes with toys and basic essentials, such as pens, crayons, soap and toothpaste, for the appeal which is run by Christian charity Samaritan’s Purse.

Once collected the shoeboxes will be distributed to under privileged children across the world including places like Africa, eastern Europe and central Asia.

Since setting up back in 1990 the appeal has distributed more than 100 million shoeboxes in over 130 countries.
