Police investigating two thefts in West Suffolk have released CCTV pictures of a man they would like to talk to in connection with the incidents.

Both crimes were on Saturday, October 31 with the first at a business in the High Street, Newmarket at about 12.15pm.

The suspect distracted and confused the cashier by making repeated requests and stole 700 Euros (£500).

The second incident was at a business, in Bedingfield Road, Bury St Edmunds at 1pm and the suspect stole 500 Euros (£360) using a similar method of confusion and distraction.

The man is described as being white, in his early 20s, of average build and approximately 5ft 7in tall. He was wearing blue jeans and a red and white short sleeved shirt.
