Police arrest teens for Mildenhall and Bury St Edmunds burglaries

Police have arrested two teenage boys from London in connection with six burglaries which happened last week in the Mildenhall and Bury St Edmunds area.

A 17-year-old and 15-year-old were arrested in East London in the last two days and have been questioned by police and bailed to return to the Police Investigation Centre in Bury St Edmunds.

Three of the burglaries took place in Beck Row, one last Thursday in Aspal Hall Road and another two in St John’s Street at a house and business on Tuesday February 3.

The other break-ins happened at a property in Woodlands Way, Mildenhall last Thursday and at Hengrave on Friday. A garden shed in Mitchell Avenue, Bury was also targeted on Friday.

The 17-year-old is due to answer bail on Tuesday March 19 and the younger teen on Monday April 13.
