Mildenhall man denies murder at court hearing

A Mildenhall man has denied murdering another man at an address in the town.

Andrew Turner, 49, appeared on Thursday at Ipswich Crown Court charged with the murder of Paul Bone, 40, of Trinity Avenue. Mildenhall who died in the early hours of December 20 last year. A post mortem examination later confirmed that he had died as a result of a stab wound.

Turner, dressed in a blue sweatshirt and grey trousers spoke only to confirm his name and plead not guilty to the murder charge during the brief hearing.He was remanded in custody. His trial is due to begin on June 16.
