Pupils at St Christopher’s Primary School in Red Lodge took time out of their studies to learn about the role of the Fairtrade foundation on Wednesday.

Youngsters from Year 3 and 4 received an insight into how the Fairtrade system works after receiving a visit from Sainsbury’s Mildenhall branch representative Helen Gower.

During her visit Mrs Gower talked to pupils about Fairtrade products, along with setting them the task of colouring in Fairtrade posters which are to form a display at the store.
