A Kennett business is doing its bit for charity by aiming to turn £50 into as much money as possible.

WildTracks activity park is taking part in the Towergate Accumulator Challenge, in aid of St Nicholas Hospice Care, and is battling 46 other firms to turn £50 into the most money by the end of next month.

It has organised a karting race event on Friday, September 5, and is inviting teams of up to four people to compete to win a historic trophy. Arabella Michell, of WildTracks, said: “The vintage trophy has a prestigious and romantic history and was originally awarded in 1931 to the winners of the Eton College house racquets competition.”

The karting race evening starts at 4pm and runs until 9pm, with endurance races, bar, food and trophy presentation. Up to 23 teams can take part, with more than five already signed up. It costs £200 per team, including karting races and hog roast. Individuals can book for £50 per person and be added to a team, while non-karting participants are welcome to join for networking and food for £25 per person. For more information, contact Arabella Michell at arabella@wildtracksltd.co.uk or call 01638 751918.
