Connections of successful racehorses won’t be the only winners at Newmarket’s July Festival which gets underway at the July Racecourse today.

Fashion at the Festival sponsored by The Spa at the town’s Bedford Lodge Hotel will see around £15,000 worth of prizes given out to the best dressed racegoers at the three-day meeting.

Today is Ladies’ Day and the winner or the best dressed, along with the second and third will receive between them prizes including a £400 ESPA hamper and £240 spa day for two at The Spa at Bedford Lodge Hotel; £500 to spend in Coast Cambridge, including help from style advisor; a £500 Jaeger gift card and a table for two in the Champions’ Gallery restaurant.

Tomorrow judges will chose the Best Dressed 
Gentleman who, with the two runners up will receive 
between another bumper bundle of prizes and on Saturday,

On Saturday, the prizes for the winners of the Best Dressed couple will include a seven-day holiday at a four-star hotel in Menorca courtesy of Premier Travel. Amy Starkey, Director – East Region, Jockey Club Racecourses, said:

“Over the three days, superb fashions will be seen in the grandstands, on the lawns and around the parade ring, with visitors in with the chance of winning some spectacular prizes.
