Weekend dates for Ramblers

Newmarket Ramblers have the third of their series of walks based on the Icknield Way Path on Sunday, a 12 mile linear walk from Cheveley to Balsham. Members should meet at Balsham Church at 9.30am to share transport to the start. Contact walk leaders, Mike and Jackie, on 01953 884931, in advance, for arrangements.

Also on offer on Sunday is a five mile walk from Ely’s Ship Lane, (Maltings) car park starting at 10am. Further details from Beryl, on 01638 750837.

Wednesday morning’s 6½ mile walk is from Clare Country Park, visiting Cavendish starting at 10am. More information from Hilary on 01440 710919.
