Suffolk Police are warning motorists to take care on the county’s roads ahead of the strong winds and heavy rain which is expected to reach the county this afternoon.
Wind speeds are set to increase and heavy rain is expected from early afternoon through to early evening.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time for their journeys, reduce their speed, leave greater distances between themselves and the vehicle in front and consider the likelihood that there will be standing water and floods on the roads.
