Van stranded in flooded ford

This van found itself stuck in flood water in Moulton ford on Monday morning following heavy rainfall.

The photograph was taken by Ken Harris, from Exning, who happened to catch sight of the stranded vehicle.

Meanwhile, a woman was trapped in her car in one foot of water in Gazeley Road, Moulton, at 3.05pm on Monday.

Fire crews were called to the scene, but were not needed as a member of public towed the car to safety.
