Two badly hurt in Soham collision

Two people were seriously injured after a two-car collision on the A1123 Wicken Road at Soham on Thursday.

A 25-year-old man driving a Seat Leon was in collision with a 40-year-old woman in a Mitsubishi FTO at about 6.10pm.

Both had to be cut free from their cars by firefighters.

The man, from Witchford, was found unconscious with a head injury and was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

The woman, from Isleham, suffered a serious leg injury, which was not thought to be life threatening.
