Newmarket’s Bedford Lodge Hotel and spa has been awarded a nationally recognised badge of excellence.
The town’s only four-star hotel has received WorldHost recognition status, which puts it on the map for top-class customer service.
It received the accolade after its staff passed extensive customer training standards. Hotel chief executive, Noel Byrne, said: “This is a great achievement.
“We have always tried to offer excellent customer service and constantly invest in our staff training.
“It is a great testament to our staff that they have all made the grade.
“I want to thank them for continuing to make this beautiful hotel a desirable place for our guests to stay and enjoy.”
