The Saturdays and Lawson to appear at town racecourse

Hit girl band The Saturdays are to headline a double-bill of music for the first Summer Saturday live event at Newmarket’s July Course.

The five piece girl group will take to the stage with boy band Lawson after racing on Saturday, June 8.

Since forming back in 2007 The Saturdays have enjoyed 11 top 10 singles, with songs including All Fired Up and Higher, along with producing three top 10 albums.

Boy band Lawson made their mainstream breakthrough when supporting The Wanted on tour two years ago.

Last year the group charted three top 10 singles and released their first album, Chapman Square, which reached number four in the charts.
