Generous donations from the Mildenhall branch of the Royal British Legion (RBL) have seen them scoop a prestigious county- wide prize.

Earlier this month, the branch picked up the Treasurers Tankard at the annual conference of the Suffolk County RBL.

The tankard, which is being held in the picture by chairman Tony Wheble, is given out annually to the branch which donates the largest amount from its existing funds into the county benevolent fund.

Mildenhall members took home the tankard, which was presented to them by Bill Rimmer, county president, this time around for their donation of £1,000.
