Stableman’s inquest opens

The inquest has been opened in Bury St Edmunds into the death of Asif Shaikh Qurashi, the Newmarket stableman found dead under a hedge in the town’s Bury Road.

Mr Qurashi, 38, lived at St David, Icewell Hill, Newmarket. His body was discovered by his friends at the Fence Line, at approx 9.30pm on Thursday January 24.

A full hearing will be held at a later date.
