Soham shops come together for festive fundraiser
BUSINESSES in Soham spread some Christmas cheer when they joined together to hold a charity fair.
Organised by Amwell Aquatics manager Dan Stephens, the festive event was held at the Northfield Crossroads Business Estate with staff from nearby shops getting into the spirit by dressing up in costumes, such as elves and Christmas parcels.
Visitors were entertained by carol singers from St Andrew's Church, music and children's rides and, as well as mince pies and mulled wine, they also enjoyed a barbecue.
The shops held a late-night shopping evening with special promotions and
additional activities took place inside.
The event raised around 140 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
