A team of 13 sixth form students have
completed a two-hour spinathon for charity.
The students from Mildenhall College were raising money for Mineseeker Foundation.
Mineseeker works mostly in Africa and aims to remove landmines beneath the earth.
Many of the students had never tried spinning before, but they slogged their way through a gruellingly long session delivered by a Mildenhall Leisure Centre instructor.
Mineseeker estimates that there are over 100 million buried landmines, and that one is stepped on every 19 minutes.
With money provided by fundraising efforts such as this, Mineseeker can ensure communities can walk around their towns and villages safely.
