Service needs volunteers

An accident rescue service which covers Newmarket and Mildenhall is appealing for volunteers to help support its life-saving activity.

The Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS) wants to increase the number of charity volunteers who can provide vital fundraising and administrative support.

“We urgently need more charity volunteers who can help us with administration, fund raising, marketing, in fact almost every area of the charity’s backroom operation,” said SARS fundraising manager Ben Hall. “There are some great opportunities to learn new skills or use your existing skills to help a local charity.”
