Run the Walks date set for October
Martin Gear last years winner of Run the Walks ready for this years race.
Newmarket’s second Run the Walks event was officially launched in the town on Monday.
The 12k road race taking in the town’s unique network of horsewalks, was staged for the first time last October and was so successful that the organisers will be staging it again this year.
The race will be at 1pm on Sunday October 6 and, like last year, will include a family fun run on The Severals. All money raised goes to the Newmarket Open Door charity, which provides help and support for homeless young people, and Racing Welfare, which organised the event in conjunction with Newmarket Joggers.
