Year 5 pupils from Newmarket’s Paddocks Primary School have created a Jackson Pollock inspired pieces of art for the town’s hospital.Supply teacher, Emily Miller, thought up the idea of bringing the community together through art and Jamie Gaskin of Tindalls donated a range of canvases, which the Year 5 pupils used to create their designs.

”It was meant as a way of encouraging the children to think of themselves as a part of a wider community and for them to put out a positive message to the users of the hospital as well as brightening up the walls,” said Emily.“The children are already planning their next works of art for display later in the year.”
