Police warning after firearms stolen

During the last week there have been two dwelling burglaries in Suffolk, from which licensed firearms have been stolen.

Therefore any persons with such firearms on their premises should pay extra attention to the security of their weapons. It is particularly important they are kept in an approved security cabinet at all times whilst not in use.

Investigations are on going to recover the stolen weapons, and detain the offenders, but in the meantime please ensure you comply with the conditions and secure storage of all firearms.

In addition any person with information regarding the stolen Firearms can contact Suffolk Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
