Police have released an e-fit image of a man they would like to trace following a robbery in Newmarket.

Two men walked into the Waggon and Horses pub, in High Street, at about 7am on Monday, December 16, and confronted members of staff, spraying one of them in the face with an unknown substance.

They then demanded to be given money and stole about £500 in cash.

The first man was described as white, aged in his late 30s, 6ft 2ins tall, of a slim build, and wearing a blue racing-style jacket and a black bandana across his mouth.

The second man, whose likeness can be seen in the e-fit, was descibed as white, also aged in his late 30s, 5ft 8ins tall, of a stocky build and wearing a red racing-style jacket.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Bury St Edmunds Priority Crime Team on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
