Police in Newmarket are appealing for witnesses after a woman was robbed of her mobile phone in the town.
The incident happened between 8.20 and 8.40pm yesterday.
A woman in her 30s was walking along New Cheveley Road and as she neared the junction with Barry Lynham Drive a man approached her from the opposite direction and demanded her mobile from her.
The woman was scared and so threw her phone at him and he then ran off.
