Police are appealing for witnesses after a car failed to stop after a collision on the A14 on Friday, December 27.

The maroon-coloured estate car, possibly a Peugeot 405, was in collision with a vehicle, which then caused another two vehicles to crash, at around 12.45pm on the eastbound carriageway before driving off without stopping.

Police said no one was injured, but the A14 was closed while the vehicles - a Hyundai, Honda and lorry - were cleared.

Anyone with information should call PC Ryan Harris at the Bury St Edmunds Roads Policing and Firearms Operations Unit on 101.
