Newmarket Open Day date is fixed

Newmarket is set to hold another stables open day this year following the success of the 2012 event – the first the town had staged for 13 years.

The Betfair-sponsored day will be on Sunday, September 22, and organisers are hoping to build on the success of the 2012 event, which raised nearly £100,000 for three charities including Racing Welfare and the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
