Matt Hancock MP takes a deposit from Geoff Ashton under the watchful eye of apprentice Grace Teager at the Ipswich Building Society in Mildenhall.

Mildenhall MP Matthew Hancock paid a visit to the town’s branch of the Ipswich Building Society on Friday.

During his brief stop at the High Street building society, the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Skills met members of staff and customers, along with three young people who have recently participated in apprenticeships with the agency.

The Conservative MP praised the work and efforts of those involved with the group for their on-going community focus.

“I am delighted to see a successful regional business like Ipswich Building Society expanding into the local area,” said Mr Hancock.“It is great to see apprentices go straight into full-time work after achieving their qualifications.
