Mildenhall man accused of murder to appear in court

A man is due to appear in court this morning charged with the murder of a 40-year-old Mildenhall man.

Police were called to a home in Pembroke Close at around 12.50am on Friday, December 20, where Paul Bone, of Trinity Avenue, had been stabbed. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A post mortem carried out on Friday confirmed Mr Bone died of a stab wound.

Andrew Turner, 49, of Pembroke Close, Mildenhall was arrested on Friday and charged with murder the following day.

He was due to appear at West Suffolk Magistrates Court this morning.

A 45-year-old woman from Mildenhall, who was also arrested on suspicion of murder, has been released on police bail and will return to the Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre on March 18.
